Idan Yalovich has been building AI products since before the category had a name, across three companies.

He founded the software agency Apptory in 2015 and grew it to 25 people inside a year.

In 2019 he co-founded Zest, an AI-driven enterprise search engine that reached 100,000 monthly active users on under $1 million raised. WalkMe acquired Zest in 2021.

At WalkMe (NASDAQ: WKME) he served as VP of Product and Engineering, rebuilding Zest into WalkMe Workstation, growing it into a significant revenue line, and earning a promotion to lead the company's core product lines. SAP acquired WalkMe in 2024 for $1.5 billion.

In early 2024 he founded Bluebricks, an AI agent for cloud infrastructure that planned and executed production changes. The company raised $8.5 million in total funding.

In early 2026 he left Bluebricks and joined Upwind Security to lead its AI security for endpoints business unit.
